Elders
Shannon Church of Christ is scripturally organized with men serving in the capacity of elders, shepherds, or overseers. (1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5-9).
The New Testament consistently outlines the role of elders as a vital part of God's design for His church. (1 Timothy 4:14, 5:17,19) (1 Peter 5:1-4, Acts 20:17-31).

Ministers (Romans 15:15-16), also known as preachers (Romans 10:14) are to proclaim the "good news" of the gospel of Christ.
Deacons
The elders have also seen fit to select men to serve in the capacity of deacons in the congregation. These men are chosen according to the qualifications found in the New Testament scriptures. (1 Timothy 3:8-13).
